George Jesse San Nicolas

George Jesse San Nicolas, 61 residing in Goodyear, Arizona passed away at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona after a long battle with lung cancer. The good Lord took him on September 27th, 2017 at 1345pm.

George was born February 22nd, 1956 in a beautiful town in Sinajana, Guam. Jesus Mafnas San Nicolas and Ana Crisostomo San Nicolas raised a wonderful and caring person. George later moved to the United States and later joined the Army in 1974 right after high school to serve his country. After his tour of duty, George worked at the Phoenix Regional Benefit office and later American Airlines.

On October 5th, 1994 George took me, Gerald Reetz, under his wing. For 20 plus years he took care of me. He showed me a very kind and gentle spirit he had, his voice made many happy.

Georges Funeral service will be held at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary on Friday October 13th, 7924 North 59th Ave, Glendale AZ 85301 at 11 am and be laid to rest at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Road, Phoenix AZ 85204 at 2 pm.

A very special thanks to the Seattle VA Medical Center & the Phoenix VA Medical Center. Many of the doctors & nurses worked very hard for his battle with cancer and made him comfortable on his last days here with us.
