89 of Glendale, Arizona was born in Andst, Denmark, July 8, 1924, and entered her rest on December 1, 2013. She grew up on Minnesota and Iowa farms with her immigrant family. Esther worked as a nurse's aid and billing auditor for five years in Minneapolis, returning to farming when her brothers left for WWII. She married Harold Lundberg and moved to Phoenix, and together they raised four children. She was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grand and great grandmother. She sang and taught at several Christian churches and ministries, and was a thirty year volunteer at Thunderbird Hospital. Faith, family and loving service were the focus of her life. Harold, her husband of 60 years, and her daughter Sharon, preceded her in death. She is survived by sons Dan, Jon and Bruce, 8 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary 7924 N 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ on Saturday, December 7th at 10am followed by a funeral service at 10:30am.
