Gene Marcel “Peter” Conley, age 33, of Birmingham, Alabama died Friday, April 20, 2001. He was a graduate of Georgia Tech and Co-Owner and Vice-President of Marketing with The Atlas Group. Peter was an avid hunter and a loving husband, son, brother, father, and friend. He attended Metro Church of God.
Peter is survived by his wife Denise Conley; parents: Gene and Pauline Conley; sister and brother-in-law: Marcella and Douglas Alexander; nieces: Jesse and Carolanne Alexander from Lyons, GA; steps-sons: Brian and Dale Turner; grandson: Stephen Turner of Birmingham.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 23, 2001 at 3:30 p.m. at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel (205-655-2173) with burial in Chalkville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:30 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
