Edgar Raymond Dunn

Edgar Raymond Dunn, an adventurous, hard-working, and cherished individual, passed away on December 21, 2024, at the age of 70. Edgar was born on April 26, 1954, at The U.S. Army Hospital in La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin, France, to his parents, John and Gertrude Dunn.

Edgar began his career as a mechanic and worked diligently for over 32 years at Maricopa County Equipment Services, where he retired as a Fleet Management Supervisor in 2021. His dedication and commitment were evident throughout his career.

On April 10, 1976, Edgar married Teri Sims, and together they raised three children: Cori Dunn, Jessica Dunn, and Kurt Dunn.

He is survived by his wife Teri, three children Cori Dunn, Jessica (Jef Newman) Dunn and Kurt (Lauren) Dunn, three siblings, Robert (Patty) Dunn, John (Clara) Dunn, Cindy Dunn, and several nieces and nephews. Edgar was also a very proud Opa to four grandchildren: Daniel, Ryker, Wade, and Emmalynn.

A visitation will be held on January 6, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 West Northern Avenue, Glendale. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am and burial will follow in Resthaven Park Cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Edgar's medical providers, Dr. Neena Uppal, Dr. David Khan, Dr. Rawad Mounzer, Dr. Richard Manch, as well as the wonderful people with Hospice of the Valley.

Edgar's adventurous spirit, hard-working nature, and cherished presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
