Age 69, of Glendale, AZ, died 5/15/2011, at Thunderbird Hospital. She was born April 29, 1942, in Carlinville, IL, the daughter of Dorothy Poole Rinderer and Irving Joseph Elam. She moved from Trenton, IL, to Arizona in 1960. Mrs. Determann was co-owner with her husband, Adolph C. Determann of Adolph's Automatic Transmission Specialists, Inc. of Glendale, AZ since 1967. She was a member of Bethany Bible Church. She was a homemaker and loved her family dearly.
Donna was a lovely, strong-willed woman who could light up a room with her smile and laugh. She had a heart for God and lived each and every day like it. She touched the hearts of many with her kind words, her love, and her willingness to give help to anyone in need. She was loved by all who knew her and the memory of her will live on with her families legacy. She was married for 51 years to her lovely husband Adolph, who was not only her husband, but her best friend. Donna is survived by her husband, her daughter Kathy Wommer, her son John A. Determann, her granddaughter Kira Wommer, her grandson John F. Wommer III, and brothers, Orville and John Rinderer. IN HONOR OF HER, SHE REQUESTED THAT THE ATTENDEES WEAR THE COLOR BLUE IN SOME SORT OF WAY. Visitation is at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale, at 9 AM on Saturday the 21st of May. Funeral Services will follow at 10 AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, with Reverend John F. Wommer Sr. officiating. Burial Services will at Resthaven Park Cemetery, Glendale will follow. Contributions in lieu of flowers to Back to the Bible Ministries.
