Debbie’s life was one of creativity, service and love, beginning with her education at Crestmoor High School in San Bruno, California and later from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.
Debbie spent her adult life in Arizona and New Mexico, eventually settling down in Glendale, Arizona within close proximity to her father.
She had a keen and sharp mind and became a counselor for both debt management and absence management with further certifications. She worked long hours to aid wherever needed at work and at home. Debbie’s hobbies included several artistic endeavors including jewelry making. She had an incredible eye for combining shapes and colors. Her pieces were unique and beautiful. She enjoyed traveling and cruising, and would have liked to return to Venice, Hong Kong and see the Northern Lights. She especially loved her babies, Westland Highland White Terriers, Frisbie, Piper, Jackson and little PJ.
Her smile was the brightest, her warmth, laughter, sense of humor will be the memories that our family holds dear. Debbie’s memory will be honored and kept alive by her brother Bill, little sister Jessica and niece and nephew Laura Ellen and Billy.
Please reach out to the family if you would like to join a family gathering. A cruise will be planned for a celebration of life, view the Northern Lights and scatter ashes in April-May.
Debbie embraced every moment of change with an open mind. Failures became opportunities. Setbacks were times to regroup. And in no way would she ever let the “status quo” dictate her life.
