Deborah Kay Ball, 65, of Peoria, Arizona passed away on February 6, 2024. She was born on June 14, 1958, in Burbank, California to the late Robert and Beverly Henry. In addition to her parents, Debbie is preceded in death by her brother Jeffrey Burkett.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband Bryan, their children, Angela (Steve) Doyle, Christina (Daniel) Allen, Lisa (Rob) Abel and Chris Ball, their grandchildren Jayden, Aubrie, Tayson, Addison, Allie, Aubrey, Ava, Ashlynn, Ryan, and her sister Robin (Mike) Fox and family.
Anyone who knew Debbie, knew that her husband and family were her everything. Doing arts and crafts, playing board games, shopping, and swimming were just a few of the things she enjoyed doing with her beautiful grandchildren. They brought her so much joy! Some of her favorite times were spent enjoying family traditions of “taco night” and her favorite “chicken divan”.
She and Bryan especially loved Hawaii! They spent their honeymoon snorkeling, enjoying beautiful sunsets and spending time together. They always had a beautiful marriage, one of unconditional love and support. They met while working at Fry’s grocery store. Over the years they made wonderful, life-long friendships with co-workers.
Debbie retired from Fry’s in May of 2021 after 30 years and was grateful for the many employees that recognized her. Although the workdays were long, she treasured the laughs and memories shared with her co-workers.
She truly felt blessed to be able to enjoy travel, have a beautiful home, and create memories with family and friends. She will be deeply missed for the beautiful person that she was.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 13, 2024 at 11:30 AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home of Glendale. Fellowship between 11:00-11:30 am (everyone welcome).
