Dean Arnold Hansen

Dean A. Hansen was born in Jasper, Minnesota on 09/29/1931 to Ernest and Catherine Hansen. He lived his entire childhood on a farm near Jasper until graduating high school in 1949. Dean served in The National Guard from 1948 until 1952. He returned home to Jasper. He then went to Devry University in Chicago. Then on 02/1953 Dean became reunited with childhood friend Ruth Zimmerman. They were married on 12/28/1953. Dean was a sportsman, outdoorsman and bowler. He was always active in the Methodist church, his family and their lives. Dean went to meet his wife on 12/27/2014, one day short of their 62nd wedding anniversary, and now lives forever in God’s Kingdom. Dean is survived by his son Joel, daughter Dawn, 3 grandchildren, one great grandchild, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. His memorial will be held at New Song Methodist Church 16303 W. Bell Surprise, Az on January 16 at 11:00am.
