He was born William Christopher Spicer on March 24, 1955 in Corning, New York to the late William and Ellen Spicer.
Christopher served with the United States Air Force. As a disabled veteran, he was able to help hundreds or perhaps thousands of other veterans through his nonprofit Veteran Advocates on Call.
He married Irene Tessensohn on December 7, 1996; they were planning to renew their vows this year to celebrate their 25th Anniversary.
Christopher is survived by his wife Irene, stepsons Christiaan (Kristin) Tessensohn & Shaun (Marisa) Tessensohn, sisters Belinda Manjarres & Theresa Torres, grandchildren Megan, Ezekiel, Samara & Ryder. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Olga Eisen, father-in-law Julius Eisen, sisters-in-law Marlene Jaya & Linda Tessensohn and brother-in-law Peter Tessensohn.
In addition to his parents, Christopher was preceded in death by his brother Michael Spicer and a sister Diane Spicer.
Family and friends are invited to a funeral service on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 10AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Christopher will be laid to rest at National Memorial Cemetery, Phoenix with military honors at 12:30PM.
