Fam it’s Thanksgiving and the feeling is different for sure, we’re missing you. No turkey no stuffing BUT THERES PIE. The sadnesses walking you down the church aisle was one that I have never felt ever. But I tell you icing on the cake the dude picking his nose in church if you know you know Nina I know you were laughing too. Well here’s till we meet again in NEVERLAND. 

Sally....we had your funeral mass and burial today,  you would have approved. The priest from Most Holy Trinity included the family in folding the casket cover.  That simple gesture closed the circle and brought us closer together. That was you wasn't it?Afterwards we got together and ate that pie like we were supposed to. There was some paper throwing,  although it was largely ceremonial. 
I miss you girlfriend.  I hope this portal stays open for me...or maybe you'll open a new one.

My heart goes out to all your family and friends. It seems like just yesterday we were having lunch in your kitchen. Thank you for being there for our family. You were like a sister to my Rosie. You took her under your wing and helped her along in her career. 
When I had my son, you made the best chillaquilles. Gave him a hand made blanket from your sister Bea. Which he still has to this day.I will forever be grateful for you.  Thank you for loving us and being a part of our lives. We will miss and Love you. 

Sally we had your rosary tonight. 
Your friends shared stories of affection for you.  I told them you loved them too....I know you would have wanted me to.
Tomorrow we will eat pie and tell Sally stories. 
I love you Sally and will miss our morning coffee together.

To my dear friend Sally we've been friends since grammar school and highschool. I have a lot of memories but the one I'll  never forget is when we rode our tandem bicycle all the way too Apollo High. You were a good friend we had a lot of laughs. until we meet again. you're in my heart, you're in my memories, love you always Virgie❤

While we are all unique, Celia "Sally" Lopez was unique in a special way. Her willingness to help others without hesitation no matter the task without expectation of anything in return was remarkable. She was a person of few words, but had an insightful wit that demonstrated a sharp sense of humor that you dare not compete with ! To say she loved to cook would be an understatement... every day from scratch... a pride and joy. But perhaps her most remarkable trait was her kindness. An unspoken love for others that was always evident... you could simply feel it...and now we sense it and carry it in our hearts as we move on in life. And we will 'pay it forward' in her name as we remember her smile. every. day.

Gracias por todo madre. Thanks and appreciate  YOU for always taking care of my family and I.  Best friend, sister, coworker and teacher. Like you say God gave you to us and took you back. Cheater mean eater you finally did it. Escaped. Yay! Until we meet again. Hasta.
