Cecilia Roberts

Cecilia was born November 8, 1957, in Phoenix, AZ, and went on to be with our Lord, on November 20, 2022. Cecilia was known by friends and family as “Tido.” Cecilia spent her childhood in Peoria, AZ., where she attended Peoria High School and graduated in 1975. Shortly thereafter, she married the love of her life, Timothy Keith Roberts, and recently celebrated 44 years of marriage.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Roberts, three daughters; Deborah, Stephanie, and Chelsi Roberts, 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, as well her brothers, John and Mike Acosta, and sisters, Sylvia Deary, Melissa Erives, Jessica Tapia, and Christina Guzman. She is preceded by her eldest son Nicky Lee Acosta and her parents Juan and Jessie Acosta.

Cecilia enjoyed spending time with her family as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved cooking and organizing family gatherings and was considered the matriarch of her family. She was a generous woman who never thought of herself and only of others. She loved to be surrounded by family and friends and enjoyed a great laugh.

A graveside service will be held Friday, December 2, 2022, at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale, AZ. At 10 am.
