Carson Jacob Sapata, 17, of Glendale, Arizona entered into heaven on January 6, 2022. Carson was born in Phoenix, Arizona to Lisa Luna and Anthony Sapata Sr., on September 20, 2004, the youngest boy of six siblings. Carson grew up in Phoenix, Arizona where he went all through grade school and was attending Copper Canyon High School. As much as he didn’t care for school, he got good grades. He was also working as a laborer in construction, where he was being mentored to become a contractor.
Carson loved to play video games. His favorite were “Grand Theft Auto’ and “Modern Warfare”, on play station. He was very “techie” (technologically) advanced. He loved to be on social media, Facebook, Instagram, Snap Chat and TikTok, where he posted funny videos, pictures of his family and friends. He also did some phytography and was really good at it. His passion was music and rapping. He wrote his own poetry and then put the words to music. His favorite color was blue.
Carson’s love and loyalty were felt by his family and friends. When Carson’s best friend Erin (Chapo) passed away last year, Carson made a weekly visit to his resting place to leave candles and just sit and talk for a while.
Carson leaves behind his mother Lisa and Father Anthony; siblings: Anthony Jr., Jorge, Nessa, Isaac and Mia; grandparents: Maria, Patricia (Pete), and Tony (Dorothy); Aunts and Uncles and over 50 cousins on both maternal and paternal side of the family; and 1 Niece and 3 Nephews: Isela 6, Elias 4, Romeo 1, and Gilbert Jr., 1 month. Carson loved to play with his niece and nephews a lot. Carson was very loving to them and would often say Romeo was his son to talk to girls. Carson sure did love the ladies and they sure loved him.
Carson was met in heaven by his maternal Grandma Carmen, who had just passed away last year on his birthday 09.20.21., his maternal Tata (Grandpa) Jose Luna, Tio Jorge aka Carson and Tia Peanut.
A visitation for Carson will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 North 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301.
