Carol Jean Hayes

Our loving mother Carol (Jeannie) Hayes passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughter Kim and her grandchildren Nick, Samantha and Jeremy. We know our brother James was there to greet her at Heavens gates. She was born and raised in San Diego, California. As a child she was in several talent competitions in 1951. She won first place in the Great Western Days competition. She was a head baton twirliest in the mother goose parade. Mom loved animals and gardening. But most of all she loved being a caregiver.

Jeannie is survived by her son Donny Edmunds, her son John Edmunds, daughter Kimberly Wintner and her husband Bill Wintner and their children grandson Nick Wintner, granddaughter Samantha Wintner and Jeremy Johnson. Daughter Pamela Petti and her husband George Petti and her grandson Shawn Smith.

Daughter Suzanne Jackson and her children grandson Ricky, Jen, little Ricky, Nathan and great great grandson Ryker. Grandson David Jackson and his wife Shara Jackson and their children Chase Jackson and Cali Jackson. Grandson Christopher Jackson and his son John Jackson. Grand daughter Anna Jackson and her children Malaya Shipley, Anthony Auciello, Andrew Auciello, Tiffany Auciello and Ava Auciello. Niece Joy Ranson and her children Jesse Carrier, Emily Broderur, Dylan Ranson and Charles Gallo. Her step children Doug, Jamie and Tom.

Mom loved everyone, a lot of friends throughout her life. But, most of all she loved her family. She always kept us up on what was going on with each and everyone of us and we will miss that. She will be missed by all lives she has ever met and touched. Please feel free to leave a comment or memory you have with her. We as her family would love to read them.
