It is with a very heavy and sad heart that the family of Brian Anthony Lang announces his sudden passing at age 54 at his home in Phoenix, AZ on December 22, 2021. Brian was an extraordinary fiancé, loving brother, supportive and dedicated uncle and a constant and devoted friend. He adored everyone he knew, always self-sacrificing even toward strangers. All who knew him loved him and were loved immensely in return. He spent life being actively adventurous. He loved traveling, camping, fishing and hiking, especially when joined by his loving fiancé and their two pups! Brian was a passionate man who had a zeal for life – with a devoted love of God. He never took anything for granted and appreciated everything and everyone that enriched his life. He was a man of generosity, always giving – whether it was a meaningful gift or a helpful word of advice. Brian will mostly be remembered for being a loving, caring man who made sure his loved ones knew he was thinking about them by a phone call or a short visit just to say hello. While we will miss Brian tremendously, we are thankful for the gift of having him in our lives. By his example and encouragement, Brian made us all better people.
Brian is welcomed into Heaven by his mom and dad Harold and Karleen Lang, nephew Keith Jackson, brother-in law Floyd Lonkard and great niece MaKenna Frey.
Brian will be remembered fondly by his loving fiancée Tammy Hicks, his 9 loving siblings and their spouses: Donna (Dennis) Paprocki; Hal (Mary) Lang; Dean (Kaye) Lang; Peggy Butler; Diane (Brian) Connors; Scott (Dianna) Lang; Kelly (Cheryl) Lang; Laurie Lonkard; Lisa Eldridge; as well as 22 nieces and nephews and 22 great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to scripture services on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale at 1:30 PM followed by Celebration of Life.
