Billy Joe Skaggs Sr., 87 of Surprise, Arizona passed away on October 4, 2023. He was born in Okemah, Oklahoma on February 26, 1936, to the late Odie and Mary Skaggs.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years Ellavene, children Bill Jr. (Barbara), Robin Joella (Vernon), and Susan Donyelle, grandchildren Billy III, Melanie, and Jessica and numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Odie Jr, Louise, and Betty.
In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by two sons, Bruce Wayne and Jeffery Alan.
Family and friends are invited to attend services for Bill on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at West Resthaven Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, and the funeral service will start at 1:00 PM Bill will be laid to rest following services at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale.
