Betty Lou Hill

She was born on September 1, 1929 in Tipton, Oklahoma to the late Jim and Mattie Gunsolus.

Betty married Clarence Hill on May 22, 1947 they shared 62years of marriage prior to his passing on December 14, 2009.

She was filled everyday with bright shining smiles for everyone. Betty gave many gifts to everyone in her life and she was a beautiful Christian and always had the love of God first. Those that knew her know she brought love, joy, happiness, kindness, sweetness, encouragement, support and strength. Anyone who encountered her left feeling better then they had before visiting her. Betty had the most amazing tenacity.

Betty is survived by three children Dan Hill, Daphna Hilderbrand & Cheryl Shilling, three grandchildren Lori, Spencer & Daniel and seven great grandchildren Brook, Brenna, Parker, Tanner, Sydney, Brock & Rylan.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 1-1:30PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. A celebration of her life will begin at 1:30PM. Burial will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery. Please join the family for a happy hour celebration to share your memories and happiness after the burial at West Resthaven Funeral Home in the lovely reception room.
