She was born on June 15, 1928 in Akron, Ohio to the late James and Roxie LaPorte.
Betty is survived by her sister Joan (Dale) Kramer, two children Gail (Lowell) Roemer & Floyd (Beth) Hershey, four grandchildren Mark, John , Matthew & Sarah and a great grandson Jacob.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband Dale & son James.
Burial will take place on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 9AM at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale; followed by a memorial service at 10:30AM at Epworth United Methodist Church, 4802 N. 59th Avenue, Phoenix.
