Barbara Ruth Wakefield, 85, passed away on December 15, 2023. She was born December 9th, 1938, in Arlington Texas to Louis and Sophilla Barton.
The simplest pleasures in life brought Barbara great joy. She loved cooking and watching a basketball or baseball game and she truly treasured her pets, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She greeted people with her gorgeous smile and always made everybody feel welcome in her presence. Barbara is survived by her brothers, Donald Barton and Eugene Barton; daughters Rose Stratton and Judith Wakefield; son Paul Wakefield; grandsons Frank Ramirez, David Ramirez, and Trevor Wakefield; granddaughter Ashley Salgado, and 5 great grandchildren.
