He was born in Woodsville, New Hampshire on February 24, 1932, the eldest of two boys born to the late Chester and Nellie Stone.
Arthur served with the United States Air Force from 1951-1955. Seven months after leaving the Air Force, on September 24, 1955, he married Helen Maxine Bolin. They shared over 60 years of marriage prior to her passing on February 21, 2016.
Arthur worked for Reynolds Aluminum Plant for many years until his retirement.
He is survived by three children Marian (Denny)Shepherd, Carol (Pete) Mayne & Steven (Louise) Stone, six grandchildren Michael, Teila, Amy, Beth, Joey & Brian and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, his younger brother Cecil preceded Arthur in death.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service with military honors on Monday, January 24, 2022, at 2PM at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale, with a reception to follow.
