Arnaldo Luis Mateo Jr., age 42 passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024. He was survived by his father, Arnaldo Luis Mateo Sr., his mother, Irene Uribe Mateo, his brother, Daniel Tomas Mateo, and his beautiful children, Marissa Walker (24), Arnaldo Luis Mateo III (16), Mia Mateo (10), Mariella Mateo (8), and Joseph Mateo (7).
He was born at Luke Air Force Base on August 9, 1982. He graduated from Canyon Del Oro High School in Tucson, Arizona, where he stood out for his performance on the basketball court. Luis lived his life on his own terms. He was happiest when spending time with his family, especially his children. When he wasn't spending time with his family, he was often watching his favorite sports teams, the New York Giants and New York Yankees, or listening to his favorite podcasts. Luis would light up a room with his smile and humor. Everyone that knew him could tell you he was always the life of the party. Luis left a standing impact on everyone he met. He will be missed by many.
