72, of Glendale, Arizona passed away on October 23, 2014. Anita was not only a homemaker or assembly line worker building computers for Digital Corp., she was a friend to many, a loving wife, a great mother, a caring grandmother and great grandmother. A native of Darlington, Missouri, Anita and her family moved to Arizona in 1973 for its year round good weather, beautiful various scenery and working environment.
Anita is preceded in death by parents Herschel and Nellie Cole, brother C.W. Cole, and her husband of 46 years, Leonard Young.
Anita is survived by her daughter and granddaughter Brenda and Brea Young, sister Betty Cole, nephew Brett Cole, 4 step sons, 10 step grandchildren and 15 step great grandchildren.
Anita will be deeply missed and never forgotten. We love you Anita Young.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at the family residence. For more information contact Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary at 623-937-9297.
