Amber Mae Cunningham

Amber was born to Roy L. Cunningham and Debra L. Nichols on

January 19, 1983 and passed away on March 6, 2015. She was raised in

Phoenix, Peoria, and Glendale Arizona her entire life. She proudly

considered herself a "native" Arizonan. Amber attended Ocotillo and

Oakwood Elementary schools and graduated from Cactus High School

in 2001. Her happiest times were when she was reading, taking care of

her kitty babies, crafting and watching TV. Amber enjoyed spending

time with family, especially any babies in the family. She loved the

color purple, rainy days, new socks, music boxes and expressing herself

in various artistic ways, such as drawing, coloring, jewelry making and

colorful handmade creations. She journaled a lot, always in very neat

handwriting. Amber was a voracious reader, often reading all night.

Amber is pre-deceased by her grandparents, Furman and Mary Jane

Cunningham. She is survived by her father, Roy {Ann}, her mother,

Debbie {Guy}, sister Stacey {Bobby}, brother Ryan {Nicole}, brother

Corbin and nephews Alec and Colton. Visitation will be held Thursday,

March 19, 2015 at 10:00am. Funeral Services are planned for

Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 11:00am. West Resthaven Funeral Home,

6450 W. Northern Ave. Colorful attire appreciated. In lieu of flowers,

please donate to the Arizona Humane Society, or animal shelter of your
