Mom I miss you so much. I still don’t understand why someone had to take u away from us. I miss you so much and wish u were able to see me graduate 8th grade this year it honestly really hurts because I know you would be so proud of me and I wish u were here to watch me grow up.

It’s not fair. 3 yrs and still nothing I still think about you everyday and I know you’re doing a lot better up there. I just don’t under stand why someone took you away from us and I really hope we find out why it, it hurts everyday still and it it feels like i js found out yesterday everything just replays in my head on repeat. But it’s starting to get better now I love you and I hope one day we find out who hurt you and our family.💗

Oh Alisha I didn't even know my thoughts and prayers are with your  children and your mom. I know we just figured out that we was cousins not long before this. May you rest easy just know this isn't good bye it's see you later

I come on here when your on my mind and when im missing you and i read all the memories and remember how you may have not lived the longest life but you sure as hell made your time worth while you made amazing memories with so many people and actually lived for you i miss you everyday and i think about you often sometimes i just imagine you being there with me through every big milestone in my life all my big accomplishments and i know that your watching me from above and i hope that your proud of the amazing woman im becoming and even though you weren't around a whole lot you still had an impact on the person i am today and i want you to know that the 4 children you put on this earth we're gonna be unstoppable and amazing people and i hope you get to see it all happen from where you are anyway i love you mom and i miss you more than you could ever imagine 💗

I still remember when me and my mom would always have the best time together i remember this one time me and my mom went to the zoo together with my brother Chris and. After we went to the zoo we got on the bus to go home and some lady offered me some Hershey kisses and i took them and asked my mom if i can eat them she said yes and after we went home I saved one for her. Me and her where laying down together on the bed and i said “here mommy” and she took it and said “thank you!” And me and her just cuddled and fell asleep.
I miss it.

I worked with your family many years ago and just came across Alisha's name on the news. I'm so sorry to hear about her passing, you guys were such a supportive and sweet family.  

No one talks about it. Like it didn't happen.  I love you and I remember every day! I pray the person is caught and punished.  If not I believe karma is making their life miserable.  Love you always and forever.  

 I remember when i met you. I went out with your best friend at the time Alisha Smith.  And you were going out with my friend Cameron Brazil. I knew the day that i met you that we would always be friends no matter what. You were loud, funny, and smart. All rolled into a little tazmania devil. You showed me what unconditional love was truly like. You let me be a part of your life and that means the world to me. You may be gone but you will never be forgotten. I miss you Alisha Marie. I have so many amazing memories of Alisha but one in particular stands out. I believe it was the night of Uncle Johnny's funeral. We were at Alisha and Roy's house. Alisha and I were sitting on the front porch listening to "Family Tradition", and sharing a bottle of Jack Daniels in Uncle Johnny's honor. Roy was inside giving a friend a tattoo when Alisha turned to me and said "let me give you a tattoo". I reluctantly agreed, because I was full of liquid courage, and I trusted Alisha with my life. I chose the design and Alisha drew it up. It was my ex-husband's initial. ( I know, I know). When the needle pierced my skin I immediately said "make it lighter, I want it to be light purple". In the end it was so light you could barely make out what it was 😆. I suppose it was a blessing in disguise, because shortly after that, I met my soulmate and got divorced. Alicia never judged me, and she accepted David almost immediately. We spent as much time together as we could. One day she said she wanted to get the same matching breast cancer ribbon tattoo that me, my mom, and our cousin Lisa have. I was so honored and proud that i took her to get it the same day. She always said we were "made in the slope, and raised in the vale". She always called me Christina Marie, and I can still hear her voice hollering at me from a distance. I know I have an angel looking out for me now, but I would give anything to have one more night with you. I wish I could give you one more hug and tell you how much I love you. I will miss you so much. Your children are so beautiful, and they will always know how much you loved them. 

About 12 years ago, I met my beautiful wife Chrissy Gilmer. One of our first "dates" was actually an interview. Alisha was with Chrissy and if you didn't know better, you would think Chrissy hired a private security guard. Alisha was sweet and friendly while Chrissy was present. When Chrissy would leave to go to the bathroom,  that's when the interview started. Alisha made it well known if I treated Chrissy wrong she would cut me. Alisha laughed,  I laughed,  but inside I was a little scared! Truth is, if Alisha didn't like me, Chrissy wouldn't date me. 

Luckily after a few dates, Alisha gave me her blessings to date her cousin. 

The first 6 to 9 months of our relationship,  Alisha was always around. It went from me fearing for my life to the beginning of an introduction to a wonderful family. My time with Alisha can be summed up in on word. 

Fun. 

Alisha was fun. You could make a joke about her and she would make one back at you even quicker.  If the mood in the room was quiet, she would make sure it wasn't. 

Although I haven't been able to spend time with Alisha in years,  her memory will always live on with me. She is litterally part of the foundation of my marriage. 

Missie and Dale.... you both are the epitome of selflessness. Your hearts are big, your love is strong, and your family is amazing. There are no words that can take this pain away. 

Just know, if Alisha didn't give me the seal of approval... I wouldn't have my family. I wouldn't be able to ask Dale "where are the stuffed mushrooms" every time I see him. I wouldn't have been able to teach Nick how to Drive. I wouldn't be able to pick on Jenny's kids. There's a lot of "I wouldn't have" situations. 

In this time of grief, anger, and confusion,  I hope we all can focus on the contributions Alisha made to this world.

Hey half pint. Uncle will miss you until the day you all great me in heaven. Your heart was always full of love and joy. Life took a turn but you are now home with the ones who left us. Love you forever.

Our time together wasn't the longest. We did create one of the best things ever in our life's!!We will miss you and always love you!  

While I didn't get to spend as much time with you as I would have liked, I still loved the opportunity to meet you and get to know you. Being a part of your family and learning about you was amazing. I loved our moments of spending time outside your mom's old house and smoking cigarettes together, sharing stories about our kids and our lives. Meeting your kids was amazing and I love them to death and I'm happy to have know them and you. Save me a drink. Love you.

I wanted to be just like you but we all knew I could never really keep up! To think that I can never talk to you again, makes me sick to my stomach. Although years and miles created distance, we could always jump right back in where we left off. My heart breaks for your children and your family. Although we all knew today was coming, it did not feel real. We all sat there with this empty feeling... I cannot explain it. I struggle with words, I will keep this short, but please know we all love you so much! Life as we know it will never really be the same. Until we cross paths again, love you. Me and Alisha were related by marriage. But that never stopped her from always being there for me. I was always her family. No matter what. She was the only person who in my adult years still called my by my childhood nickname Brit-Brat. I will miss you so much forever cousin.  And I will forever be your Brit-Brat. 

I have known Alisha and her family since I was 3 years old. They became my family and she was just like my big sister as well. She always had my back and stood up for me. Her laugh is so memorable and was so contagious. You couldnt help but laugh along with her. She will be greatly missed. Much love to her family ❤

I remember when you were kids and use to stay the night at my house with Lisa you would stay up all night playing games  I will miss you. 

Alisha and I met when she was 9 years old and we were instant best friends. My family became hers and hers became mine. Because we had the same name, and I was older I was Big and she was Lil Alisha. We were attached at the hip my mom would always say. Growing up together we went on vacations, adventures, church, and caused trouble of course. My favorite memory was being pregnant together in 2011, Alisha wanted to eat hot Cheetos and drink Dr. Pepper and I wanted everything frozen. We would talk for hours about our children’s future and in hopes they would be best friends too. Believe or not we shared the same experience again in 2013 are hearts were so full. We had so many plans to create more memories . Alisha was so smart, so funny, and had the biggest heart. I will truly miss my best friend. I 💜 U LEB

I don’t even know where to begin. We were practically inseparable growing up. You will be missed terribly.  I started thinking today about our last trip to Luckys before we moved to Virginia. I still do not know to this day how you got me up on that stage to sing Shania Twain,   But you did lol  even at such a young age you were always so brave.  I will cherish every memory of you.
