Albert J. Henderson

Albert J. Henderson, 73, of Sun City, Arizona passed away on September 15, 2017. He was born in Addis, Louisiana to the late June and Rose Lee Frye Henderson. Albert graduated from Cohn High School and attended Mississippi Valley University. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad from which he later retired.

Albert is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Joyce Henry Henderson, children Albert Henderson of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Cary John Henderson of Miami, Florida and, Loretta (Michael) Cheeks of Peoria, Arizona, grandchildren Carlos Crum, Ashton Cheeks, Kiara Henderson, Jordan (LaToya) Cheeks, Cary Henderson Jr., Carrington Henderson, Kallayah Henderson and Alani Henderson, great grandchildren Rosie, Amire and Harmony. Albert also leaves to cherish his memory his three brothers George Henderson of Plaquemine, Louisiana and Herbert Henderson of Plaquemine, Louisiana and Clyde Henderson of Cleveland, Ohio, and his four sisters Rosa Henderson of Gross Tate, Louisiana, Sally Pierce of New Brunswick, New Jersey, Wanda Brown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Patricia Henderson of Brusly, Louisiana.

Albert was a good man who was committed to his family and Jesus Christ.

He will be laid to rest on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 1:30PM at Resthaven Park Cemetery 6450 W. Northern Avenue Glendale, Arizona 85301.
