April D. Presta

April Dawn Presta, 70, of Glastonbury, CT passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Hartford Hospital with her family by her side. April born in Poughkeepsie, NY, a daughter to the late Willliam, Jr. and Lucille (Martin) Albrecht. She is survived by her sons: Michael E. Presta and Mark A. Presta and his wife Theresa, her two grandchildren whom she adored, Lily and Chloe Presta, her sister Linda Ferris, her brother William Albrecht III and his wife Joan, and several loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother-in-law William Ferris.

April was a very devoted nurse, loving mother and grandmother, and a fabulous cook. Special thanks to all of the wonderful staff at Hartford Hospital. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105. A private memorial will be held at the convenience of the family.
