Waldemar Sebastian Uhl passed away on February 27, 2016. Services will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 1701 NE 96th Street, Kansas City Missouri 64155 at 5:30pm. Waldemar, "Wally" Uhl was born on 10/22/26 in Germany. Wally was a World War II Veteran and a European National Boxing Champion. He also earned the highest distinction of Global Master Pastry Chef. Wally was the proud founder of Wally's Pastry Shop in Kansas City, Missouri, which has served North Kansas City as well as multiple United States Presidents. He then passed on his talents to his son, Manfred Uhl, who continued the tradition of serving the renowned pastries and cakes. Wally is survived by his children, Manfred Uhl, Angela Pückler, Erica Uhl-Brantner and Andrea Uhl, as well as 9 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Baker-Uhl, as well as his mother and father.
