Tracey Elizabeth Smith

TRACEY E. SMITH Tracey, 54, of Kansas City, MO, formerly of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Aug. 6, 2017. She is preceded in death by her father, William Smith and former husband, Richard Armitage. Survivors include her mother, Marguerite Smith; children, Joshua, Gina, Joseph, Jordan, & Sydney; grand-daughter, Brooklyn; siblings, Dawn, Jeffrey, & Kelly. Tracey was a beautiful soul with an energetic and resilient spirit who brought love to everyone she knew. She had a love for life and cherished moments in the sun laughing. She found a family with her neighbors in Brooktree who were some of her most beloved friends. Tracey absolutely adored her children and grand-daughter. There was never a conversation that didn’t involve a story or a proud moment about one of them. Although Tracey was a Midwestern girl, the East Coast never left her heart. When back East, you would often see her eating steamed blue crabs or spending time relaxing at the ocean. She was an Orioles and Ravens fan and always got a kick out of either teams beating Kansas City! Her love of life and spirit will live on through her family and friends. There will be a celebration of life for Tracey in the coming weeks as summer fades to the bright autumn colors that she cherished so much.
