Susan was born in Albany, New York on May 11, 1950 but grew up in the State of Florida. It was in the 1970’s that Susan made her home in Missouri working for Guy’s Snacks in their quality control for nearly 14 years. Susan then began a lengthy career with Unilever Inc. working in various roles until becoming ill prevented her from working.
Susan was an active advocate by donating towards Public Television and would spend many hours watching the numerous cooking, drama, mystery, and documentaries among many others.
Lifelong learning was a passion of hers. Susan was always eager to learn something new and pass that knowledge along to others.
Susan was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Leyla and Richard Feder.
Survivors include her sister, Mary Feder; cousins, Nancy and Hal Augustine, Steve Torre, Joe and Lorreta Torre; and good friends, Nancy Garren and Brandon Scheib.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the KC Public Television or American Cancer Society.
