Sue was born on March 28th, 1940 in Kansas City, Missouri to Charles Henry Gordon and Catherine Elizabeth Gordon (Maduska). She graduated from Westport High School in 1958.
She married her soulmate, Leonard Leon Noah, on April 8th, 1960. She went on to have three daughters that remember her as a loving, kind, gently and patient mother. Sue was a woman of deep faith and shared that passion with her family. She was an accomplished artist who enjoyed working with her hands in multiple mediums. She was also an excellent seamstress and even made the bridesmaids dresses for her daughter’s wedding. Sue loved to cook for her family, travel the world and spoil her five grandchildren. She was an active church member, most recently attending Antioch Bible Baptist.
She is preceded in death by husband, Leonard Noah and son-in-law, Kevin Gordanier.
She is survived by her children, Debra Sue (Ted) Evans, Jr., Tammy Ann (Monte) Harmon and Kimberly Kay (Jeff) Grubbe; along with five grandchildren; a twin brother, Pat (Karen) Gordon; sister, Carolyn (Don) Anderson and a large extended family.
The family will have a private Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Northcare Hospice House, 2800 Clay Edwards Dr., Floor 2, North Kansas City, Missouri, 64116.
