Sharon K. Ruffin, 72, of Kansas City, MO, passed away May 7, 2017. Sharon was born Aug. 22, 1944, in West Plains, MO, to the late Elmer C. and Ina V. Maritt. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Jim Maritt and Kenneth Maritt, sister, Shirley Crull and special friend, John Finley. Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Ruffin of Springfield, MO, and Pam (Mike) Kinney of Kansas City, son, Marty Finley of Excelsior Springs, MO; grandchildren, Ashley Kinney of Kansas City, and Chad (Jessica) Kinney of Liberty, MO; brothers and sister, Glenn Maritt of West Plains, Gene (Bonnie) Maritt of West Plains, Betty Glenn of Battlefield, MO, and John (Lori) Maritt of Nixa, MO. Service 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, at White Chapel Funeral Home, Gladstone, MO. Family will receive friends following the service until 7 p.m. Entombment 3 p.m. Wednesday, at White Chapel Cemetery Springfield, MO. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial gifts to NorthCare Hospice.
