Sandy was born September 9, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri to Leo and Lodema Praisewater. She graduated from Missouri Western State University in 1988 with a degree in nursing. Her children remember her as a kind, generous, loving person who encouraged them to pursue their goals. Sandy was accomplished at nursing and she always wanted to help and take care of people. She was a compassionate individual who loved animals and reading and was passionate about her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sandy is preceded in death by parents Leo and Lodema Praisewater; daughter Jenny Shearrer; great grandson Kaiber Williams; sisters Nancy Perry and Diane Bryan; brothers Gene Bolin, Roger Praisewater, and Dale Praisewater.
Sandy is survived by her children Kathy Eisenhower (Steve) of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; LeeAnn Anderson (Shannon) of Easton, Missouri; grandchildren Micheal Morris (Morgan) of Smithville, Missouri, Matt Morris (Alex) of Raytown, Missouri, Josh Morris (Emily) of Kansas City, Missouri, Kim Deal (Josh) of Kansas City, Missouri, Tim Eisenhower of Kansas City, Missouri, Stephan Eisenhower of Olathe, Kansas, Jessica Varsuhawa (Hardeep) of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Alicca Williams (Jarred) of Easton, Missouri, Colten Anderson of Easton, Missouri, Luke Anderson (Zena) of Cameron, Missouri; great grandchildren Jacoby, Aiden, Kaiden, Xander, Kinley, Kyler, Eleanor, Emelia, Madeline, Ryker, Parker, Orion, Aviah, Isabelle, and Levi.
Sandy loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them when she could.
A visitation for Sandy will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 9 to 10am at Newcomer's White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119.
