Roma was born on April 28, 1946 in Des Moines, Iowa to the late John Harold and Margie Ann Dale, she was the oldest of three children. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Des Moines, Iowa.
Roma married William Paul Bauer and raised three loving boys. She was totally dedicated to her children in all aspects of their lives. The family lived in Des Moines, Iowa with many transfers with her husband working at Ford. Roma worked from being a crossing guard at Amanda Moore Elementary school in Romeo Michigan to working at McDonalds in Gladstone, Missouri during their transfers.
Roma enjoyed doing word search puzzles and spending time with her children down to her great grandchildren. She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and just enjoyed people.
Roma was preceded in death by her parents, John Harold and Margie Ann Dale, sister Linda Webb and son Kevin Bauer.
Roma is survived by her husband William Bauer, son William Jr with wife Angie Bauer; son Shawn Bauer with wife Melanie Bauer; brother Robert Dale; grandchildren Nick with wife Angela Zils, Matt with wife Michele Zils, Daniel with wife Tiffany Zils, Meghan with husband Josh Anderson; great grandchildren Erik Vera, Mattilyn Zils, Nicole Zils, Chloe Welch, Hossie Welch, Jeremiah Anderson, Susannah Anderson and Malachi Anderson.
A visitation for Roma will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A Celebration of her Life will begin at 2:00 PM - this service will be livestreamed and viewable in the comfort of your own home by visiting the link below. Immediately following, Roma will then be taken to the Garden of Nativity for a Graveside Service, all at White Chapel Funeral Home and Cemetery, 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, Missouri 64119.
