Ricardo was born January 22, 1947 to Lorenzo Trejo Garcia and Leonor Cobian Trejo in Mexico City, Mexico.
Ricardo attended Westport High School and later went to Vo-Tech in Kansas City, Missouri and learned the tradecraft of welding. He started his welding career with Kansas City Structural Steel and then he joined Kenworth Truck Manufacturing.
Ricardo loved music both playing guitar and singing Mexican songs and all genres of music. Ricardo had the honor to play in numerous bands throughout his musical life; some include Los Caballeros, Ricardo Trejo y Los Revolution, Junior Lopez y Los Pecadores, and Carino.
Ricardo was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Frank Trejo; his nephew, Eddie Trejo as well as many extended family and close friends.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Margie Trejo; his sons, Richard (Vanessa) Trejo and Russell Trejo; his daughter, Raquel (Michael) Trejo-Menth; his brother, Jesus Trejo; his sister, Mary Trejo; niece, Ciera Trejo; granddaughters, Marina (Andy) Liera, Savannah Trejo, and Gabriella Trejo; niece and nephew, Ramona Trejo and Christopher Trejo; great niece, Kailani Trejo-Garcia; great nephew, Keanu Trejo-Garcia, as well as many extended family members and close friends.
The family will sadly miss him, but his memory will live on in their hearts and the stories they share.
