Megan loved the outdoors and spent as much time outside as she could. As a child she spent
her time at Gramma and Grandpa’s farm. You could find her in the barn or in the pasture. She
started riding horses when she was 5 and learned to shoot her .22 at age 9. Wherever the
animals were, that’s where she was. She belonged to a Viking Battle Re-Enactment Group
called Hird. Where she was learning how to fight like the Viking Warrior Princess that
she was.
Some of her most loved hobbies included puzzles, painting and reading. Her love of books
allowed her to travel the world and other worlds as well. But her furbabies, her husband and her
family were her whole life and she loved them all fiercely and made it known that she would also
defend them just as fiercely.
Megan had countless friends whom she loved deeply as well. She did not know a stranger. She
could and would, carry on a conversation with anyone about anything! She will be so very
missed by a great many people.
