Mark Allen Holtsclaw

Mark Allen Holtsclaw, 43, of Kansas City, MO, went to be with our Lord on August 7, 2015. Mark was born April 4, 1972 in Colombia, South America. Raised in the Gladstone area, he joined the U.S. Army at the age of 17 and was a proud Veteran. He graduated from Park University in 2009 and retired as SFC in 2012. Mark had a huge heart with a gift for putting others at ease, and was passionate about music of many kinds. He loved God and was a loving father and husband. Mark was preceded in death by his son, Cody. Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Charice; his 2 sons, Slate and Aspen; parents, Keith and Norine Holtsclaw; sister, Sarah; and many extended family and friends. Services are set for 10 AM, Friday, August 14, 2015, with burial to follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Thursday, August 13 at White Chapel Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to benefit his sons or Wounded Warriors.
