Linda graduated from Tipton High School in 1963. Shortly after, she moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where she married Dennis Hiltner in 1965. Together, they built a life filled with love and family, raising three sons—David Brian, Glen Austin, and Andrew Jonathan.
A gifted and passionate musician, Linda had a natural ability to pick up and play nearly any instrument. She was especially accomplished on the harp, organ, and piano. Her music touched many hearts at countless events, including services at Liberty United Methodist Church. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she remained devoted to her Christian beliefs throughout her journey.
Linda is remembered by her many as a generous and caring soul. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love leave a lasting legacy.
She is survived by her first husband and dear friend, Dennis Hiltner of Gladstone, Missouri; her sons, David Hiltner (Diane) of Arcadia, Florida, Glen Hiltner (Carrie) of Kearney, Missouri, and Andrew Hiltner (Kristine) of Parkville, Missouri; her cousin, Sherry Cox of Clarksburg, Missouri; as well as many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Saturday April 26, 2025; 1 P.M. at White Chapel Funeral Home, followed by a service at 2 P.M. All who knew and loved Linda are welcome to attend and celebrate her remarkable life.
