Keith was born on October 20, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri to Victor and LaFern Lowe. He was the second oldest of four children.
Keith graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1955. He briefly attended community college but left when he was hired by TransWorld Airlines as an inspector in 1956. He started at TWA's overhaul base as a mechanic helper and quickly rose to mechanic, and then inspector. During that time, Keith was married to Sue Carolyn Hagerman, and together they raised two children; Stephen Lowe and Amy Lowe. He spent his entire career at TWA and then American Airlines, after the two merged. During his childrens childhood, Keith was enlisted in the Air Force Reserve.
Keith was always willing to help his friends, family and even strangers. He was handy with cars, plumbing electrical, wiring and appliances. He enjoyed tinkering with about anything he could find at a garage sale. He especially liked repairing clocks. At night, before he laid his down to sleep, Keith would read his bible.
He believed he would walk with the Lord when his time on earth came.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents, Victor and LaFern Lowe; brothers, Victor E. Lowe Jr. and Delmond A. Lowe Sr.
Keith is survived by his sister, Dena (Alvin) Fry of Plattsburg, Missouri; his children, Stephen Lowe, of La Quinta, California and Amy Lowe, of Gladstone, Missouri; and granddaughter Alicia Lowe.
