Kahlil was born on March 7, 1977 in Kansas City, and his bright presence touched the lives of many during his too-short time with us. He departed from this world on September 4, 2023, leaving behind a void that can never be filled.
Kahlil was a larger-than-life presence in every sense of the word. His physical stature was matched only by the size of his heart. He had a unique ability to make people feel comfortable and valued, no matter the circumstances. His generosity and kindness will forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to have known him.
Kahlil was a vibrant soul with an infectious smile that could light up any room. He has a passion for life, a love for adventure, and a deep appreciation for the world around him. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he had a way of making every moment spent in his company memorable.
A true sports enthusiast, Kahlil’s weekends were often filled at Arrowhead stadium. Whether it was on the field, court, or even in the stands cheering for his favorite teams, he approached every game with an unwavering spirit and underlying love for sports.
He dedicated a significant part of his life to the hospitality industry, where he excelled as a manager. He had a natural charisma and a kind spirit that drew people to him. His warm and welcoming personality made him a favorite among patrons and staff alike. He created memorable experiences for all who visited his establishment.
Family was at the heart of Kahlil’s world. He shared a truly special bond with his mother, siblings, children and extended family members. His compassionate nature and willingness to lend a helping hand made him a pillar of support for those around him. He had an innate ability to listen, provide guidance, and offer comfort in times of need.
Kahlil’s passing leaves an indescribable void in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. While his physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his memory will live on through the stories we share and the laughter we remember. We find solace in the thought that his bright spirit is now at peace.
Kahlil was preceded in death by his grandmother Florence Green of Kansas City, Missouri, grandfather LeRoy Green Sr. of Kansas City, Missouri; Uncle Karl A. Green of Kansas City, Missouri; and cousin Dickory Baldeh of Kansas City, Missouri.
He is survived by his loving mother, Florence (Renee) Green of McKinney, Texas; brother Tony Garcia (Michelle) of Kansas City, Missouri; sister Rashanda (Rodrick) Green of North Richland Hills, Texas; sister Renee Johnson of Huntsville, Texas; Aunt Tara (Auntchitara) Green -Baldeh of Raymore, Missouri; his children Jordan Guinn of Kansas City, Missouri; Raegan Guinn of Olathe Kansas; Jayda Hankins of Kansas City, Missouri;, Dasha Valentinovna of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Azaria Brewster of Kansas City, Missouri; Elias Chilcote of Kansas City, Missouri; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and friends.
Kahlil’s departure reminds us of the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing every moment we have with our loved ones. May his soul find eternal rest and may we find comfort in the memories we shared with him.
