Hugh O. Inman, Jr., 91, of Kansas City, MO passed away January 2, 2017. He was born January 3, 1925 in Waverly, MO. Hugh served his country during WWII in the US Army’s 17th Airborne Company. He was the scoutmaster for Troop 271 from 1963 to 2006. He was a Sachem in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say and was a Silver Beaver recipient. Hugh was employed by Remington Arms and then KC office of Army Corps of Engineers for 35 years. He volunteered at Renner Elementary Outdoor Education Program and also drove the school bus for Parkhill Schools. Preceding him in death were his parents, Hugh O., Sr. and Hettie Inman; son, Jonathan Hugh Inman; sister, Anna Hurlburt; and brothers, Bernard and Eugene Douglas Inman. Survivors include wife, Constance; children, David (Sally) Inman and Ellen (Robby) Kauffman; grandchildren, Nicholas, Stephanie and Nathan McCord and Cory and Christopher Inman; and 2 great grandchildren, Nevaeh and Jacob McCord. Funeral service and Mic-O-Say Honors will be at 2:00pm, Thursday at White Chapel Funeral Home, Gladstone, MO. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Memorial gifts may go to Boy Scouts of American.
