Gary A. Bock

Gary Augustus Bock, 71, passed away on April 17, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Eileen Bock. Gary is survived by his wife Sandy Bock, his children, Kelly Stripling, Robin Bock (Steve Maddex), Tracy Pigg (Nick) and Brian Bock (Emily), and his grandchildren Dylan, Will, Olivia, Lucas (Emily), Sofie and Garrett. Gary was born in Kansas City, MO on January 12,1946. He graduated from North Kansas City high school, class of '64, and later, Rockhurst College. Gary worked as a computer programmer working the majority of his career at the Federal Reserve Bank. Gary and Sandy married on January 28, 1967 and recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. Gary loved fishing, country music, wood working, working on cars or one of the many projects he started around the house. He will be remembered for his quick wit, bad jokes and sense of humor. He was loved by many and will be missed deeply. Service 10:30am Friday White Chapel Funeral Home Gladstone, MO. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
