Ernest Dee Green

He was born December 14, 1936 in Sedalia, Missouri to James H and Ruth L Green. He married the love of his life, Patricia A Vansell in 1955. They had four children Jenifer, Dee, Cindy, and Jeff. Ernie and his sons had been active in the Boy Scouts with Troop 707 where Ernie received the status of Warrior in the tribe of Mic-O-Say. He was a very generous individual who would do anything he could to help friends and family. After a long career with Sunshine Lighting Company, he retired in September of 2007.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, and son Jeff.

Ernie is survived by his children, Jenifer (Steve) Edwards, Dee (Laura) Green and Cindy Ashmore. Grandchildren: Chris Edwards, Lindsay (Matt Thompson, Mallory (Ben) Sainato, Cindy Marie Ashmore and Brian (Julie) Ashmore. Great grandchildren: Adalynn & Austin Thompson and Nolan and Kate Ashmore, brother Dale Green of Texas and many nieces and nephews.

The visitation and funeral are scheduled for Saturday, December 2nd at Newcomer's White Chapel Funeral Home at 6600 NE Antioch Road Gladstone, Missouri. Visitation begins at 10:00 am with the funeral following. There will be a reception after the service for any who would like to attend.

The family would like to thank Home Instead of Liberty Missouri for their care of Dad and for making it possible for us to keep our promise for him to remain home. He may have had a couple of favorites, but he truly liked each one of you.
