Donald Lloyd Hill

Donald L. Hill, age 83, passed away at Liberty Hospital on February 17, 2023. Don was born in Ray County, Missouri, in 1939, and attended school in Lawson, Missouri. He graduated from Park University with a bachelor’s degree in Management. He worked for Buick and Chevrolet Motor Divisions, traveling as a Field Representative for Buick and serving as a Department Head in the Kansas City Office of Chevrolet Motor Division.

Don is survived by his wife of 35 years, Carolyn, a daughter, Cathy Morrison (Gary) of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, a son, Gary Hill (Jackie) of Kansas City, Missouri, a stepson, John D. White (Beth Edgar) of Overland Park, Kansas; six grandchildren, Sarah, Thomas and Kyle Morrison, and Jonathan (Karla), Tyler (Tiffanie), and Sam (Torrey) Hill; four great-grandchildren, Harper Hill, Jaxton Hill, Salem Deel and Johnathan Knudsen; and his sister Jane (Ronnie) Akers. A brother, John Hill, and great-granddaughter, Ashley Ila Hill, predeceased him.

Funeral services will be held at White Chapel in Gladstone on February 23, 2023, with visitation at 11:00 and a service at 11:30. Donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
