Diana J Polansky, 63, of Smithville, MO, passed away December 3, 2014. A Celebration of Life will be 7pm, Monday, December 8, 2014 at White Chapel Funeral Home with visitation from 5:30-7pm. Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Verba Newberry and 2 brothers, Leon and Paul Newberry. Survivors include her loving husband, Robert J. Polansky of the home; sister, Sharon Richardson (Rick); children, Christopher Polansky (Amanda), Melissa Metheny (Jeremy), Tami Thomas (Ben), Liana Lyons; and 2 grandchildren, Caleb Metheny and Tucker Thomas; and her baby parrot, Jo Jo. Diana was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She received her GED, as she worked and retired from Ford.
