Debra Jean was born to Paul and Dorothy Wells on August 17, 1955 in North Kansas City, Missouri. She was an obedient child, that loved her family. She spent most of her childhood summers at Fish Hook Resort on Table Rock Lake. She graduated from North Kansas City High school in 1973 and began working at Sears. There, she met John Clayton Nyce, whom she married in 1976 and had a daughter, Sarah Jean Nyce, in 1979. John Nyce became ill and the Lord called him home in 1980. In 1981 she married John Robert McGuire and started work at McGuire Lock and Safe in 1982, where she became a very talented locksmith for 30 years. John and Debbie McGuire were able to spend 33 wonderful years together, working side by side. She enjoyed becoming a grandma (DeDe) to Kimberly Michelle, Clayton Matthew, Davina Ann, John Richard Jr, step grandchildren and great grandchildren. In 2006 she was diagnosed with Parkinson's decease and retired in 2012. She spent the last few years of her life at home with her family until the Lord called her home on November 11, 2014 at age 59.
