after a courageous battle with cancer. She departed peacefully at her home in Kansas City surrounded by loved ones.
Debbie was born on October 19, 1958, in Kansas City, MO, to Scott and Mae Davis. She graduated from Belton High School in 1976, and later earned her Bachelor's of Science in Psychology at the University of St. Mary. She spent most of her career in the insurance industry, where she developed many lifelong friends with coworkers.
Debbie touched the lives of those around her with strength, resilience and unwavering spirit. Despite facing challenges of her illness, she remained a beacon of hope and inspiration to all who knew her. Debbie was passionate about nature, books, family, and friendship. She was fond of hiking, boating, kayaking, watching movies and cooking.
Throughout her life, Debbie embodied kindness and compassion. She had a distinct gift of party planning, decoration and entertaining. Her selflessness and generosity knew no bounds, leaving a mark on the hearts of friends and family. Her legacy of love will be cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing her; her strength will continue to inspire generations to come.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Scott and Mae; her in-laws, Jim and Pat; and her cherished son Ryan.
She is survived by her husband Brad; their children Allysha (Michael), Daniel, Ryan (Heather), Rick (Tara); brother Jim (Brenda); and her very precious grandchildren.
May Debbie rest in eternal peace and be remembered for the love and light she brought into the lives of others.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 20, 2024 at 11 AM with a luncheon to follow, at Good Shepherd Methodist Church, located at 9555 N. Oak Trafficway, Kansas City, MO 64155
In lieu of flowers, Debbie wanted donations to be made to Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care
