Cynthia Lou Beason

Cindy was born on July 17, 1963 in Smithville, Missouri to Bob and Helen Staton. She graduated from Oak Park High School in 1981. She married Richard Beason in 1989, who she met while working at K-Mart. Cindy worked there from 1982-1990. The couple had two daughters together, Cymantha and Rachel. Cindy was able to be a stay at home mom for much of their childhood. She did hold two different roles over the years with North Kansas City School District, first at Crestview for 4 years with Adventure Club and later on with North Kansas City High School in food services for 5 years. She loved to read, draw, and go to Smithville Lake. Cindy was always a lover of animals, especially her cat Huck, who is missing her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Helen Staton and her brother-in-law, Steve Bigham.

Cindy is survived by her husband Richard Beason and daughters Cymantha Beason (Ashneil) and Rachel Beason.

She is also survived by her siblings Bob Staton Jr. (Debbie), Lenard “Bill” Staton, and Marsha Bigham and her nephews Michael Staton (Robin), Thad Holtsclaw (Sara), and David Staton (Erin).

Her visitation is scheduled for June 26, 2023 at 1:00 PM at White Chapel Funeral Home, her Funeral is to follow at 2:00 PM with a Graveside service afterwards.

The family would like to thank the amazing staff at NorthCare Hospice House for making Cindy comfortable in her last days with us.
