Curtis D. Cornell

Curtis David Cornell, 53, of Jamesport, MO passed away February 6, 2015. Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Thursday, February 12, 2015 at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO, with burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be an hour prior. Curtis was enlisted in the United States Marine Corps for 3 years and a Kansas City Firefighter for 20 years. He also was an avid outdoorsman; Curtis loved to fish and hunt. Curtis is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Destiny. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Elizabeth; parents, Roger and Judith; 2 sisters, Leslie and Jennifer; son, Christopher; daughters, Rachel, Corrin, Somer, Sarah and Jennifer; and 15 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Firefighters’ Pension System, 414 E. 12th St., City Hall, 10th floor, Kansas City, MO 64106
