Many fond memories are in my heart of Cindy and her dear mom Maxine.  My sympathy to all the family.

I met Cindy in 1995, when we were both part of the original staff of CernerKids.  She became my dearest friend.  After we left Cerner, we would often meet for lunches, sometimes lasting for 5 hours as we chatted about work, our families, politics, religion, anything and everything.  I have no words for the loss I feel.  Cindy's time on earth is done.  Her work is finished.  Money and material things no longer matter.   But, the love, time and kindness she has given will shine and live on forever.  She made a difference! 

My husband, Scott, and I would like to express our most sincere condolences for the passing of Cindy. She cared for our sons at CernerKids. I loved her spirit, I loved her wise thoughts, and I loved her hugs. The children felt the same way. Cindy had such a beautiful way of working with the children  and she was therefore a gift to us as parents. They say people will be remembered for the way they made you feel. Cindy made the children feel loved and seen and understood. She was empathetic and patient. We are so profoundly sorry for your loss and thankful for the beautiful life of Miss Cindy.

Our hearts go out the family.  Blessings to Cindy for a beautiful life well lived.  She took care of animals, babysat, rescued animals and so much more.  I met Cindy at La Petite in 1983.  We always kept up.  She LOVED to sing, loved babies and young children.  She always sang Boogie Woogie Piggie with motions no less.  She gave us laughter, extra care and loved her entire family very very much.  She will be missed.  April Armstrong Bertholf

Cindy was one of my best friends , we loved to laugh so hard that we would cry over anything . I met Cindy when a started a new job , she was the only one that said welcome aboard we are going to get along great . We did and became great friends . We had a place we loved to eat at and would sit for hours talking about everything . Cindy will be dearly missed, her heart of gold , her friendship , her live if her cats will continue on . I will try and laugh again , but it won’t ever be the without her. May her family and friends find comfort in the loss of such a wonderful person .
