Chris was born in Spokane, Washington to the late Ronald Budig and Jeanne (Brady) Budig Tieken. He graduated from Lincoln University with a bachelor's degree in computer science.
Chris enjoyed NASCAR, all fast cars especially corvettes, his career in I.T., spending time with his wife, and his dogs, Marmaduke, Lucy and D.O.G. Chris was also a long standing member of the Touch of Glass Corvette Club.
Chris is preceded in death by his father and grandparents Tresa and William Budig.
Chris is survived by his wife Deanna, his step sons Sean (Kelsey) and Brenden Shockley. His brother Daniel (Lynne) Budig; nephews, Andrew, William and Michael; his mother and step-father Jeanne and Al Tieken; his uncle, Donald Budig, his cousin, Donna Hernandez as well as many extended family members.
A memorial service honoring Chris will be held Saturday December 16 at 11:00 am inside the White Chapel Mausoleum, with the family receiving visitors one hour prior. The Family has asked the memorials be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Kansas City (2502 Cherry St; Kansas City, Missouri 64108).
