Bonnie Sue Smith

Bonnie was born in Kansas City, MO on May 31, 1962. She graduated from Fort Osage High School in May 1980. After graduation she went on to work for Business Men's Assurance Insurance. In October of 1982, Bonnie married Charles Smith of Kansas City, MO. The couple proceeded to have four children, the first of which, Krista Dawn, was born in August of 1983, followed by Charles Jr. in February 1988, and twins Rebecca May and Aaron Michael in July 1991.

Her children remember her as a patient and caring mother. She was a generous mother and grandmother who loved reading and was passionate about quality family time.

Bonnie was accomplished at sewing and often quilted. She was member of Nitetime Needlers Quilt Guild and often volunteered at the annual Quilt Shows in Kansas City. Bonnie was also an avid gardener and loved working in her flower gardens.

She is preceded in death by Junior Dodd (father), Rita Lee Burton (mother), Ronnie Burton (stepfather), and Jeff Dodd (brother).

Bonnie is survived by her husband Charles, four children Krista, Charles Jr., Rebecca, and Aaron, her sister Debbie Moffet, and brothers Chris Dodd and Randy Dodd. Bonnie also is survived by ten grandchildren Avery James, Aiden Rayne, Charlie, Michaela, Addy, Harrison, Holland, Leland, Kingsley and Matty.
